1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how StethoMe collects, uses, and shares personal information through its U.S. website (the “Site”) while StethoMe prepares to launch sales in the United States. At this stage, the Site is a pre-launch marketing and waitlist page — it is not yet processing orders, payments, or account information, and the StethoMe device/app are not yet available to U.S. customers.
This Privacy Policy may change from time to time as StethoMe’s U.S. offering evolves. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date and version number — see Section 13 for details.
2. Who We Are
This Site is operated by StethoMe sp. z o.o., located at StethoMe US Headquarters, 8400 West Sunset Road, Black Fire Innovation Center, Suite 300, Las Vegas, NV 89113, USA (“StethoMe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy covers the Site at us.stethome.com.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Waitlist / early-access signup: your email address, name and surname, and any additional fields the waitlist form collects (if any).
- Contact or inquiry forms: your name, email address, and the content of your message, if you contact us directly.
- Any information you volunteer, such as replies to a confirmation or nurture email.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, device type).
- Usage data (pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, referring/exit pages).
- Approximate location inferred from IP address.
- Information collected via cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies — see Section 5.
4. How We Use Information
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To notify you about U.S. availability, launch timing, and related updates, if you sign up for the waitlist or opt in to marketing communications.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site (e.g., understanding which pages are useful, fixing errors).
- To measure the performance of our marketing, including ads that led you to the Site.
- To protect the security and integrity of the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use the information collected through this Site to make any automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
5. Cookies, Pixels & Your Ad Choices
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including analytics tools and advertising pixels, to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns. This Site is built on Shopify — see more at Shopify’s Cookie Policy. Some of these technologies (particularly advertising pixels) may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted/cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws, even though StethoMe does not sell personal information for money. Where that applies, you have the right to opt out — see Section 7.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request where required by applicable state law. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, though blocking cookies may affect how the Site functions.
6. How We Share Information
We share personal information collected through the Site only in the following ways:
- Service providers: companies that host the Site, send emails on our behalf, or provide analytics/advertising services, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing those services to us.
- Marketing agency: CrowdTamers and StethoMe’s Marketing Team access waitlist sign-up data and Site analytics to run and measure our advertising and marketing campaigns. They are permitted to use this data only to provide those services to StethoMe, under contract.
- Advertising partners: as described in Section 5, for measuring and improving ad performance.
- Legal and safety reasons: if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of StethoMe, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- Platform providers: the Site is built on Shopify (Shopify International Ltd.).
We do not sell personal information for money.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Colorado Privacy Act, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and similar laws in other states. Subject to certain exceptions, these rights generally include:
- Right to know / access what personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
- In some states, the right to appeal a denied request.
To exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or of targeted advertising, visit our Your Privacy Choices page. To exercise any other rights listed above, contact us at support@stethome.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days). You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
7.1 Requesting Deletion of Your Information
At this pre-launch stage, the Site holds a small, simple set of data — mainly a waitlist email address and, if you contacted us, your message. If you’d like us to delete your information from our systems, you can ask us to at any time, whether or not a specific state law technically requires us to grant the request.
To request deletion, email us at support@stethome.com with the subject line “Delete my information” and the email address you signed up with. We will confirm we’ve received your request and remove your information from our waitlist, CRM/email tool, and marketing systems within 30 days — this mirrors the deletion right StethoMe already honors for EU visitors under GDPR, extended here to U.S. visitors as a standing practice rather than only where a specific state law requires it. Note that some information (e.g., records needed to comply with a legal obligation, or aggregated/de-identified analytics data that no longer identifies you) may be retained as permitted by law even after a deletion request.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details in Section 13 and we will delete it.
9. Data Retention
We retain waitlist and contact information for as long as needed to communicate with you about StethoMe’s U.S. launch, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We retain automatically collected analytics data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in Section 4, consistent with our analytics and advertising providers’ retention practices.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Visitors
This policy is written for visitors located in the United States. If you are visiting from the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law, please refer instead to StethoMe’s EU/GDPR privacy policy, available at StethoMe® Privacy Policy, which describes your rights under GDPR.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Site and StethoMe’s U.S. offering evolve — most notably once checkout, accounts, or device/app data collection go live. We will post the updated policy here with a new “Last updated” date.
